I’m Madilyn, but I also go by Renee in a work environment. I’m a 16 year old graphic designer that’s been studying the craft for 6 years now. I specialize in character illustrations and company branding. I dream to be a freelance graphic designer in the future or educator and hope to major in business.

I started graphic design when I was in foster care. I wasn’t allowed electronics and struggled to express myself to kids around me. My sister encouraged me to draw so I did and it’s become everything to me.

People didn’t like my artwork in the beginning and would throw my drawings around the classroom. I remember vividly someone taking my drawing and stomping their muddy shoes on it.

Luckily, I kept going and I continue to inspire people to keep going as well. I have a competitive nature by heart and drive to be the best artist I possibly can.

It’s easy for me to get caught up in my head and find my self worth in my ability to draw better than others.

I’m currently on a journey to teach others what I’ve learned on my art expedition to heal my inner jealousy. Without the support of my mom and clients I wouldn’t be where I am today.
